Refund Policy

Clear rules for booking cancellations, venue decisions, and how prebooking money is refunded to customers or settled with venues on Vagasko.

Last updated: 6 August 2026 Customers & businesses Prebooking-based refunds

When you book on Vagasko, you pay a prebooking amount plus a fixed checkout platform fee of ₹2. Refunds below apply only to the prebooking amount. The ₹2 platform fee is non-refundable in every case — whether you cancel, the venue rejects, or the venue cancels.

97% Refund if you cancel early (before accept, or 2+ hours before the slot after accept)
100% Prebooking refund if the venue rejects or cancels your booking
0% No refund for late cancel (under 2 hours) or no-show

1. Customer refund rules

Refund percent is calculated on the prebooking amount you paid for that booking (not the full service total, and not the ₹2 platform fee).

Situation Your refund What it means
You cancel before the venue accepts or rejects 97% of prebooking Most of your prebooking comes back. A small platform retention applies on the prebooking amount.
Venue has accepted, and you cancel with 2 hours or more left before the appointment 97% of prebooking Same early-cancel refund. Example: 2:00 PM booking cancelled before 12:00 PM.
Venue has accepted, and you cancel with less than 2 hours left 0% refund No refund on the prebooking amount. Example: 2:00 PM booking cancelled after 12:00 PM.
Venue rejects your booking 100% of prebooking Full prebooking amount is refunded. ₹2 platform fee is still not refunded.
Venue cancels after accepting 100% of prebooking Full prebooking amount is refunded. ₹2 platform fee is still not refunded.
Venue marks you as no-show (you did not arrive) 0% refund No refund on the prebooking amount for that booking.
Platform / venue emergency (see section 2) 100% of prebooking Full prebooking refund when an approved emergency cancels the booking. Timing: about 10–15 days.
Platform fee: The fixed ₹2 charged at checkout is kept by Vagasko in all cancellation, rejection, and refund scenarios. It is never returned to your payment method or wallet.

2. Emergency situations (100% refund)

If a booking cannot go ahead because of an emergency — for example a technical failure on the platform, a government lockdown, flood, or a similar force-majeure / safety event — and Vagasko confirms that the booking is cancelled for that reason, you receive a 100% refund of the prebooking amount.

  • Examples include (but are not limited to): technical outage, lockdown, flood, or other comparable emergencies that prevent the appointment from being fulfilled.
  • Eligible emergency refunds are processed so that the money typically reaches you within about 10 to 15 days after the emergency cancellation is confirmed.
  • The fixed ₹2 checkout platform fee remains non-refundable, same as other refund cases.
  • Vagasko decides when a situation qualifies as an emergency under this section.

3. How refunds are paid

  • Eligible refunds are sent back to your original payment method (for example UPI / card via the payment gateway).
  • Bank or UPI credit usually appears within about 7 business days after the refund is processed.
  • Any promotional credits, coupons, referral rewards, or bonus amounts used on a booking are not cash-refundable.
  • Refund timing can vary slightly by your bank or payment app; Vagasko starts the refund as soon as the booking outcome is confirmed.

4. Trust score impact

Booking behaviour also affects your Trust Score on Vagasko. Refunds and trust score are separate — even when money is refunded, your score can still change.

Score can go down

Cancellations (especially close to the appointment), venue rejections tied to your side of the visit, and no-shows can reduce your trust score.

Score can go up

Completing bookings and starting the service on time helps improve your trust score over time.

5. What this policy does not cover

  • Disputes about service quality after a completed visit — contact the venue and Vagasko support separately.
  • Offline / remaining amount paid at the venue after you arrive.
  • Charges outside Vagasko (tips, extras agreed directly with the venue).

6. Fraud & payment misuse

Customer responsibility: If a customer commits any payment-related fraud, chargeback abuse, fake payment proof, or other payment misuse on Vagasko, the customer alone is responsible. Vagasko may suspend the account, hold refunds, reverse credits, and take legal or recovery action as needed.

Changes to this policy

Vagasko may update this Refund Policy when booking, payment, or settlement rules change. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised policy.
