Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern how you use Vagasko — including discovery, bookings, prepaid payments, cancellations, wallets, promotions, trust score, and business listings.
By creating an account, browsing, or booking on Vagasko, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Platform role
Vagasko is a technology marketplace that helps you discover and book independent venues, spas, barbers, beauty, wellness, and related services. We provide listing discovery, booking tools, prepaid payment facilitation, notifications, wallets, and related features.
- Vagasko does not itself provide the in-person service at the venue.
- Service quality, staff behaviour, hygiene, timing at the venue, and offline workmanship are the venue’s responsibility.
- Venues listed on Vagasko are independent businesses. Approval of a listing does not mean we endorse every service outcome.
2. Account & eligibility
- You must register with a valid Indian mobile number and complete OTP verification.
- You must provide accurate profile information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping OTP / login access secure.
- You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.
- Vagasko may refuse, suspend, or block accounts with false details, abuse, or security risk.
3. Bookings & visits
3.1 Placing a booking
- You select a venue, services, date, and time slot shown as available on the platform.
- A booking typically requires a prebooking / prepaid amount (a percentage of the booking total, as shown at checkout).
- Any remaining balance after prepaid is generally payable offline at the venue unless the platform shows otherwise.
- Prices, deals, and availability shown on Vagasko are supplied by the venue and may change before payment confirmation.
3.2 Venue response
- After prepaid payment succeeds, the venue is notified and should accept or reject within about 20 minutes (or from opening time + that window when booked outside hours).
- If the venue does not respond in time, the booking may be closed as no-response and prepaid refund rules apply (see Refund Policy).
- A booking becomes an accepted appointment only after the venue accepts it.
3.3 Starting the visit
- When a booking is accepted, you receive a start code / OTP for the visit.
- The venue starts the service by verifying your OTP on the platform. Do not share your OTP with anyone other than the authorised venue staff for that booking.
- Arrive on time. There is a short arrival grace window after the slot start (about 30 minutes). Missing the visit may lead to a no-show outcome.
3.4 Reschedule
- Pending bookings (not yet accepted) can usually be rescheduled before the visit starts.
- Accepted bookings can be rescheduled only when at least 2 hours remain before the current slot.
- Rescheduling an accepted booking generally returns it to pending so the venue must accept the new slot again.
4. Payments & fees
- Prepaid payments are processed through third-party gateways (for example Razorpay). Vagasko does not store full card numbers, CVV, or sensitive UPI secrets on its own servers.
- At checkout you pay the prepaid amount plus a fixed platform fee of ₹2.
- The ₹2 checkout fee is non-refundable in all cases — including your cancellation, venue rejection, venue cancellation, or refund of the prepaid amount.
- Any unpaid due amount after prepaid is between you and the venue offline.
- Gateway failures, bank delays, or UPI issues are outside Vagasko’s direct control; we will help investigate using payment references where possible.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Detailed refund rules are published in our Refund Policy. In summary (on the prebooking amount only):
- You cancel before accept/reject → about 97% refund of prebooking.
- You cancel after accept with 2+ hours left before the slot → about 97% refund.
- You cancel after accept with under 2 hours left → 0% refund.
- Venue rejects, venue cancels after accept, or timed-out no-response → 100% of prebooking refunded.
- No-show → 0% refund.
- ₹2 platform fee → never refunded.
6. Trust score
Vagasko maintains a Trust Score based on your booking behaviour. Refunds and Trust Score are separate — money may be refunded while your score still changes.
- Completing bookings and starting on time generally improves your score.
- Late cancellations, no-shows, and similar outcomes can reduce your score.
- Vendor-fault cancellations typically do not penalise you.
- Vagasko may use Trust Score for risk checks, feature access, or account review.
7. Wallet, cashback & referrals
- Cashback, referral rewards, loyalty credits, and promotional balances (if offered) follow the program rules shown in-app at the time of the offer.
- Such credits are generally for platform use (for example paying a salon / booking-related use) and are not cash-withdrawable unless Vagasko expressly says otherwise.
- Referral rewards are typically credited only after a qualifying completed booking by the referred party — not merely on signup.
- Vagasko may reverse, withhold, or cancel credits obtained through abuse, self-referral, fake bookings, or policy breach.
- Refund-wallet balances (where applicable for legacy prepaid restores) follow separate withdrawal / refund handling shown in the app.
8. Reviews, chat & content
- Booking chat is for coordinating that visit only. Do not share OTPs, full payment secrets, or abusive content.
- Reviews must be honest and based on your real experience. Fake, defamatory, or abusive reviews may be removed.
- Wishlist, explore filters, reels, and listing media are provided for discovery; always confirm final details at booking.
- You grant Vagasko a licence to display content you submit (reviews, messages, profile info) as needed to operate the service.
9. Fraud & misuse
Prohibited activities include, without limitation:
- Fake bookings, payment manipulation, chargeback abuse, or fake payment proof
- OTP sharing for unauthorised use, account takeover, or impersonation
- Referral / cashback / coupon abuse or self-dealing schemes
- Harassment of venues or other users
10. Liability & disputes
- Vagasko is not liable for service quality, delays at the venue, staff conduct, allergic reactions, product results, or injuries arising from services performed by a venue.
- We are not liable for offline cash/UPI disputes for amounts paid directly at the venue.
- To the extent permitted by law, Vagasko’s total liability for platform-related claims is limited to the fees you paid to Vagasko for the specific booking giving rise to the claim (excluding amounts paid offline to the venue).
- We may help mediate disputes using booking records, but final service responsibility remains with the venue.
11. Suspension
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access without prior notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud, harm other users or venues, or create legal / security risk for the platform.
12. Changes, law & contact
- Vagasko may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
- Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts in India shall have jurisdiction.

These Terms apply to businesses / venues that list on Vagasko, accept bookings, receive settlements, run promotions, or upload content. By registering as a business you also agree to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy (business section).
1. Platform role
Vagasko provides software tools for discovery, booking management, prepaid collection, settlement into your venue wallet, promotions, and analytics. You remain the service provider to the customer. Vagasko is not your employer, partner in the salon business, or guarantor of occupancy.
2. Onboarding & listing
- Register with a valid phone number and OTP. Provide accurate business name, address, categories, services, pricing, hours, and media.
- Listings generally go live in public discovery only after Vagasko approval of your business profile.
- You must keep services, prices, opening hours, capacity, and gallery up to date.
- You warrant that you have rights to use all photos, videos, logos, and text you upload, and that your listing does not infringe third-party rights or law.
- Offline / walk-in customer logs (if used) are your CRM records and are outside prepaid marketplace settlement unless the platform expressly says otherwise.
3. Booking operations
3.1 Accept / reject
- Respond to new bookings within about 20 minutes (or from opening + that window when applicable).
- Reject promptly if you cannot honour the slot. Failure to respond may auto-close the booking and trigger a customer prepaid refund.
- If you reject or cancel after accepting, you do not receive prebooking credit for that booking.
3.2 Start with OTP
- Start an accepted visit only by verifying the customer’s booking OTP in the vendor tools.
- Do not fabricate starts, reuse OTPs improperly, or mark visits started without the customer present.
3.3 Grace, no-show, completion
- After slot start there is a customer arrival grace of about 30 minutes, plus a short additional vendor window (about 10 minutes).
- Mark no-show only when the customer genuinely did not arrive within the allowed window.
- Completed visits settle prepaid into your venue wallet after Vagasko takes its applicable platform commission.
- Any remaining due amount after prepaid is collected by you offline from the customer.
4. Settlements & wallet
Businesses do not receive “customer-style refunds.” You receive settlement credits under platform rules. See the business section of the Refund Policy for the settlement matrix.
- Late customer cancel (under 2 hours) or valid no-show → venue may receive about 80% of the prebooking amount.
- On completed bookings → eligible prepaid share is credited after Vagasko deducts its applicable platform commission (exact commercial terms appear in your business agreement / vendor dashboard — not published as a public percentage here).
- The customer’s ₹2 checkout fee stays with Vagasko and is never paid out to the venue.
- Wallet buckets may include prepaid settlement, top-ups, cashback received from customers, coupons, and referral earnings. Referral earnings (if any) may be non-withdrawable.
- Withdrawals follow dashboard rules, including any minimum reserve on top-up balance and admin processing of payout requests.
- You must provide accurate bank / payout details. Vagasko is not responsible for payouts sent to details you entered incorrectly.
5. Promotions & featured listings
- Paid campaigns, coupons, and featured listing packs (if offered) are charged as shown in the vendor tools at purchase time.
- Campaign targeting, duration, and concurrency limits follow the product rules in your dashboard.
- Promotion fees are generally non-refundable once the campaign period has started, except where Vagasko cancels the product for platform fault.
6. Reels & media
- Short-form reels and gallery media may require admin approval before public display.
- Respect duration / size limits shown in the upload tools. Do not upload illegal, pornographic, hateful, or infringing content.
- Vagasko may reject, unpublish, or remove media that violates these Terms or law.
7. Fair use & no-shows
- Honour accepted bookings or cancel early enough for the customer to be treated fairly under platform refund rules.
- Do not misuse no-show marking to capture forfeit settlement.
- Do not pressure customers to pay outside Vagasko in a way that circumvents prepaid / settlement rules after a platform booking is created.
- Repeated unfair cancellations, fake no-shows, or policy abuse may lead to listing demotion, holds, or suspension.
8. Fraud & compliance
- No fake bookings, self-bookings for reward abuse, manipulated OTPs, forged payment proof, or wallet gaming.
- Comply with applicable business, tax, labour, and consumer laws for your venue.
- Keep customer personal data from the platform confidential and use it only to fulfil bookings.
9. Liability & indemnity
- You are solely responsible for services rendered, staff, premises safety, products used, and customer care at your venue.
- You agree to indemnify and hold Vagasko harmless from claims arising from your services, listing content, offline payments, negligence, or legal non-compliance.
- To the extent permitted by law, Vagasko is not liable for lost profits, reputational harm, or indirect damages from use of the platform tools.
10. Suspension
Vagasko may suspend or terminate business access, unpublish listings, freeze wallets, or withhold withdrawals where Terms are breached, fraud is suspected, or required by law / risk review.
11. Changes, law & contact
- We may update these Terms; continued use as a listed business means acceptance.
- Data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
- Governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts in India shall have jurisdiction.
